My life since my last blog!
Well I havent blogged in a while! I actually forgot about this page! But Im back now! Well since the last time I wrote alot has been going on! But only a few important things! Lets see first off Mother's Day was a big one! I got my first card from Brodie, he had help signing his name but still it was so cute! I cried my eyes out! Then for the past 3 weeks my wonderful hubby has been at AT which is basically summer camp for the military! I am soo ready for him to be home! I have missed him so much! But since he will be leaving Aug. 9 for 13 months to go to Afganistan, I guess he needed to go and be sure of what to do over there! Safty first! So when he comes back Friday we were planning on taking a trip to the beach for the weekend, well yesterday one thing after another happened and now we will not be able to go! First I checked to see how much money we would have to spend down there and turns out we wouldnt have any until Monday which means it would be in the bank the day after we got back! Then I started playing with Brodie and saw that his left ear was BRIGHT RED and twice the size it should have been! Well I got freaked out and took him right to primed, well good thing I did because he had celluitius or however its spelled, which means he has an outter ear infection from a bug bite that he has scratched, so we had to go back for a checkup today, and his ear looks better but now there is a bump on the top and they want to see him again Saturday to make sure they dont have to lance it! So now Im even more worried cause I dont want them to have to cut my baby ear up... Well an update on Brodie's growt though he is now 22 pounds and can say a lot of new words, I love to hear him try to say words.. its the sweetest thing ever! He also has been saying mama since my hubby left, which he used to say it alot but then DADA came home and thats all it has been.. I love my son! Well updates will be posted soon!

Everyone concentrates on the problems we're having in this country lately -- illegal immigration, hurricane recovery, alligators attacking people in Florida ...
Not me --
I concentrate on solutions for the problems -- it's a win-win situation.
* Dig a moat the length of the Mexican border.
* Send the dirt to New Orleans to raise the level of the levees.
* Put the Florida alligators in the moat along the Mexican border.

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that during the mad cow epidemic our government could track a single cow, born in Canada almost three years ago,right to the stall where she slept in the state of Washington? And, they tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our country. Maybe we should give each of them a cow.
THE CONSTITUTION
They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq .... why don't we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys,it has worked for over 200 years, and we're not using it anymore.
THE 10 COMMANDMENTS
The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments posted in a courthouse is this -- you cannot post ' Thou Shalt Not Steal' ' Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery ' and 'Thou Shall Not Lie' in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians ..... it creates a hostile work environment .
Also, think about this ...
if you don't want to forward this for fear of offending someone -- YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM!
It is time for America to speak up ! Yep, I passed it on!

I think this is funny!
My son, has recently started throwing temper tantrums! He is so funny! He stomps around and throws his self on the floor, bangs his head on stuff.. Just this morning he decided to get mad at mommy because I wont let him on the computer with me, and he was standing on the bean bag and started stomping around and fell backwards and did some sort of gymnastics backflip and hit his toys all the way down! Well Im not the one to put up with these little tantrums in public but at home I cant help but laugh at him! Sometimes he gets so mad that he wants to bite things (me, himself, the table, ect..) I just think this is to funny except when he bites me because doesnt he know he is just hurting himself? Anyways My point to this is does anyone know how to somewhat cure this said temper tantrum, fit pitching problem? Any suggestions???

Introducing Me and My Little Family... The Hancocks
Well to start off My name is Nikki. Im 22. I am married to my best friend Blake. We have a 15 month old son, named Brodie. He is our world.
I am new to the blogging world, but I usually have alot on my mind and being a stay at home mommy, I need somewhere to speak in grown up terms, so I decided this might be just what I need to do!
So I will leave with that and maybe Ill have something a little more interesting to blog about later! Im kinda busy chasing after Brodie right now, lol.
